It appeals to a small group of people, and allows for them to legally practice there beliefs while also being citizens of the U.S. Members like the fact that every ones incomes go into a communal pot where it is shared. All members in this community are equal because it is egalitarian.

Many of the ideas and beliefs of this community are extreme, which deters many people from joining.
